Vovó (Portuguese for Grandma) is a versatile and hard-wearing non-superwash yarn made entirely from fine Portuguese wool, mainly from Serra da Estrela sheep. This four-ply yarn is a great choice for jumpers and cardigans.

Shades 01 and 20 are undyed. Like all Rosa Pomar yarns, Vovó is non-superwash and not bleached. It is grown, scoured, milled and dyed in Portugal.

Each 50g skein contains approx 143 meters of yarn. The recommended needle size is 3.5mm-4.5mm.

Gauge: 20-23 sts x 28-32 rows = 4 x 4 inches | 10 x 10cm
