Garthenor Ronas DK
Garthenor Ronas DK
Garthenor worked with Uradale Yarns to produce this beautiful undyed native Shetland yarn. It was spun at New Lanark mill in Scotland into three shades, has a uniquely delicate twist, and blooms beautifully after wet blocking.
This is Garthenor’s second truly Native Shetland yarn.
Ronas DK excels in textured stitches as well as cables, and can produce a beautifully even fabric in a plain stockinette, which allows the deeply heathered shades to show through. Three-fold construction gives this a round and bouncy texture.
Sold as 50g skeins in DK weight, with approximately 130 metres per 50g skein.
