This is De Rerum Natura’s woollen spun, heavy aran French merino yarn. The yarn blends soft French merinos d'Arles and black Portuguese merino produced in France in an ecological way.

Cyrano has a five-strand composition that gives the yarn a lot of roundness that enhances any patterning your knitting might include. Think of it for quick, satisfying projects such as hats, scarves, blankets and slipovers — but also for snuggly cardigans and children's jumpers.

Each 100g ball contains approximately 150m. (Note: ball weight can vary from 95 to 105g.)

Gauge at 10 x 10 cm or 4 inches of stocking stitch:

14 to 16 sts x 20 to 22 rows, 5 to 6 mm needles
