The T-shirt, a Merchant & Mills pattern
The T-shirt, a Merchant & Mills pattern
A good old T-shirt from the creative minds of Merchant & Mills.
Probably the world’s most popular garment, it’s presented here as a smart, contemporary evolution of a wardrobe staple. Merchant & Mills T-shirt is a smart combination of a woven fabric with a stretch rib neck, a breast pocket and optional rolled-up sleeves.
Should you wish to lengthen it into a dress, as shown, Merchant & Mills added another 40cm in length - which means you’d need 80cm more fabric. Merchant & Mills suggests choosing an oversized fit when making the dress because the side seams are completely straight. We love this idea, and can see it working winter and summer.
Fabrics pictured include laundered linen and Japanese double gauze.
This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including sizes 36 – 46. All seam allowances are 1.5cm except for the neck which is 1cm, these are included and marked on the pattern.
NOTE that this is the older version of the pattern and the pricing reflects the older packaging.
