The Billy is a hardworking gilet that can be made lined or unlined, with facings on the inside or outside. The pattern covers UK men’s sizes 34-54.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern.

Skill level: Intermediate.

Fabric suggestions: Dry oilskin, oilskin, linen, 7-12oz denim, wool, corduroy, cotton twills or canvas. For the lining we’d suggest our barrier lining if using an oilskin, otherwise – cotton voile, lightweight linen, cotton poplin, lightweight wool and slip linings.
