Bilbury Corozo buttons - 28mm

These four-hole buttons from Courtney & Co in the UK are made from corozo, which is derived from the nut of the tagua palm. This palm tree grows in the equatorial rainforests of Central America, where the tagua nut is used to produce ‘vegetable ivory.’
These are in the Bilbury pattern with plain face, four holes and a satin finish. At 28mm, these are great for coats, jackets, chunky cardigans and anything else you might dream up.
Curious about how tagua becomes buttons? This video is a great introduction to the mighty tagua and role it plays in the ongoing fight against deforestation.
