Biches et Bûches Le Cashmere and Lambswool
Biches et Bûches Le Cashmere and Lambswool
Oh la la: Biches et Bûches add cashmere to their fine lambswool to produce a supremely soft and glorious yarn. The colours all have a degree of tweed in them, so there will always be a touch of variation and the occasional small speckle.
We can see this suiting a snuggly scarf or shawl and a dreamy jumper or cardigan.
Technical specs: The yarn is a blend of 12.5% cashmere and 87.5% lambswool. It will knit up as a DK ("double knit") on 4mm needles, with a gauge of 22 stitches over 30 rows in a 10cm square. Each 50g skein contains approximately 248m or 272 yards of the good stuff.
