The Box Box, a Merchant & Mills pattern

NEW FROM MERCHANT AND MILLS!!

It’s always a great day when Merchant and Mills brings out a new pattern. This one is a real beauty - the Box Box.

This boxy top or dress can be dressed up or dressed down, and will soon be an essential part of your wardrobe. The front pleat detail is enough to make this design stand out. The simple rouleaux loop-back neck closure reflects the simplicity of the silhouette.

All seam allowances are 1.5cm unless stated otherwise and are included in the pattern. This is a multi-size paper pattern in an envelope, including UK sizes 6 – 18.

Suitable fabrics include light to medium weight woven cottons such as poplin, chambray or dress weight denims. But you could also look at crisp linens, needlecord, and lightweight wools. If you are a confident dressmaker you could use tencel, tencel linen, and laundered linen.
