The stainless steel blade is drop forged then ice-hardened to -80C to create a martensitic steel that is hard and durable. It's carbon saturated, so will take a sharp edge and retain it. The beautifully curved bolster helps easy cleaning and for extra strength the tang is sandwiched between the sinuously-shaped, sustainably harvested, dense Indian rosewood handle. They're riveted together for an enduring bond. Shipped in its own box.
